AI · GAME DEVELOPMENT · BUILDING IN PUBLIC

AI raises the bar
and lowers the gate.

Generation-first game development from concept → prototype → iteration → release. AI won’t tell you what’s fun — human taste, imagination, prompting, organization, and iteration count do.

Honest note: no shipped games yet — building in public · courses soon

Tools get cheaper. Taste doesn’t. The people who win learn to prompt, organize, and kill what’s boring — then do it again until it sings.

HOW I WORK

Concept → prototype → iterate → ship

A generation-first workflow. Speed gets you into the arena; taste and iteration decide whether anything is worth playing.

  1. 01

    Concept

Nail the fantasy in plain language. What’s the verb? What’s the hook? What’s the feeling you refuse to compromise?

  2. 02

    Generate

Use AI to scaffold art, code, systems, and copy — not as a finished game, but as a playable draft you can feel in minutes, not months.

  3. 03

    Iterate

Play, prompt, cut, refine. Organization beats inspiration. The fun is discovered in the loop, not predicted in the pitch.

  4. 04

    Ship

Package, polish, release. Players are the final judge. Building in public means learning that lesson early and often.

COURSES

Learn the craft. Courses coming soon.

I’ll teach the full path: ideation, prompting for game systems, tool pipelines, playtesting for fun, and shipping without waiting for “ready.”

No spam — just course launches, build-in-public notes, and the occasional tool find worth stealing.

  • AI-assisted prototyping workflows
  • Prompting for mechanics, not just assets
  • Taste, organization, and iteration discipline

We’ll only email about courses and build notes.

ABOUT

Victor Nguyen

Indie educator exploring AI-powered game development end-to-end. I’m building in public: no shipped titles yet, no fake “10 games released” résumé — just the honest path from blank page to something people want to play.

The thesis is simple. AI makes more people able to start. Taste, prompting discipline, organization, and ruthless iteration decide who finishes something fun. I teach that craft.

LATER

Own tools, someday

Today: teach + affiliate tools that already help. Later: maybe a small SaaS of my own for the same workflow — prompting, organizing prototypes, and tracking what actually feels fun. Soft roadmap only. Focus now is teaching and shipping learning in public.
